Saturday Rolly came down to show us how to cook her own version of pho! thing was pretty damn good. missing a couple of condiments like sriracha and maybe some thai peanut sauce. other than that, the dishes that were made "BROKEdaMOUTH"
Sunday still woke up feeling like ish. Wasn't planning on going to mass until kristel called to ask if i was going. I know she wanted to go, so if i said no, it prolly would've caused her not to go. God works in different ways and sometimes uses others as instruments to persuade you into doing his work. I've always heard of stories where people would have the worst day and yet they'd still make it to mass. So i made my effort in going, but still feel like my immune system is way low.
skyloft pics still in the process of posting. thats prolly what got me sick "too much partying"? lol i hope not. cuz i'm usually at the hospital while people are clubbing nightly.

Jena and Krysel decided to throw a pre party at Almaza hookah lounge and then head to XS right after. Unfortunately, I had clinicals the next day so i couldnt make it to xs, but i did go to Almaza. For the time being, it was a good atmosphere, every one just enjoying themselves.

hawaii blog v1.5: kanikapila
playing music backyard style is very relaxing especially on a chill summer night. Thanks to Derrick for hosting and for the rest of the guys for coming down to just chill one last time before i go back to Vegas. I wish i took more pics, because its pretty rare for us to be together as a group. Especially with Myron back from iraq, and every one else growing up to do their own thing. Outlaws/STreet Techniks will always live on. We're never serious about the group name but its what we call ourselves when were together. At least I do. :)

went with the homies to white plains. always a good time with the outlaws. had a minor swell but it was very choppy. I hear there's a swell hitting the islands right now. all you beach goers, enjoy it for me while i enjoy myself in vegas

hawaii blog v1.3:Cindy's graduation c/o 2009
gave my sister the option of either attending her graduation or her party. we weren't planning on a party so she told me to come to her graduation. I made it and also the bbq too. Thank you God!

hawaii blog v1.2: around the Island
saturday, JUNE 13.
cousins were eager to go "around the island" so that's basically what we did that day. only to north shore though. wish we went on the east side too but time was short and we didnt start till about 12 in the day :-\. first stop, DOLE CANNERY. where they had the World's largest maze. not anymore though, but it still holds its ground.

Famous Giovanni's shrimp truck. bomb as shrimp, pretty pricey though but it sells. shrimp scampi, garlic butter srhimp, and some other spicy shrimp. that thing kicked my mouth in the ass, i think it was because i ate the crused pepper part of the shrimp.
my niece whoring up the camera haha, learning the ways of the aunties. She goes "uncle ardie, there's a rock right here, take a picture of me right beside it." and she throws up the shaka :-p. I guess she learns part of it from me.
church in old haleiwa town. Shows how life is simple with the island breezes portrayed on the palm trees.

After matsumotos shave ice, we headed over to turtle beach. I've always passed by this beach but never stopped by to see the turtles. I didnt realize that this is where they ate. Somewhat a picnic for them on the island. its advised that you avoid getting near their habitat because you'll disturb them.

my encounter with turtle. he was just lying there with the tide coming in. so refreshing.
after that night we decided to get some rest. I had to run errands with my sister in dropping off graduation tickets to attend her cerermony. Last stop was myron's place and it was a stop and go thing. How would I stop and go missing up a meal like this. Garlic butter shrimp, grilled steak, bbq chicken and Green tea lychee hawaiian SUN juice. so freak'n golden. Thanks myron for the bbq food.

we were gonna park at the free parking spot to go to the hilton (rainbow tower) but they towed cars away at 10:30. time now is 10:35. I decided to take some night shots of waikiki, been wanting to do this for a while, just didnt have a good cam. Now i do :D. well not great, but good enough.
capturing diamond head in the background with the darkness of night settling upon waikiki. a long walk on the beach would've been nice but we were about to get towed away.
