I realized today that this is a blog. which means online journal and all I've been posting are picture coverage of events so this is my first time blogging away. woke up this morning and decided to hit up the slopes with bay-jay(bay-jay.blogspot.com) and ivan. Ivan is back from the military so I decided to take the oppurtunity to chill with me a bit. We got a bit delayed in the morning, but I'll leave that story to AJ. On the way up conditions were a bit foggy which looked like a huge tornado but ended up being a heavy over cast.
clear and then all of a sudden a wide portion of heavy overcast.
there's that tornado!
once again the roads clear up. I accidentally fell asleep on the way up but it was a good power nap. I slept @ 3am in the morning which left me with a short amount of rest. As we climb our way up I notice it start to snow a little bit and wadda you know. White powdered slopes!
The bunny slopes to the left were really packed. Me being a beginner, I have never left the bunny slopes on Lee canyon but as Aj says "experience my friend is the best...." (totally forgot what he said, seriously). so I just went up to the Intermediate slopes and it was nice and powdered/groomed.
to the right, above the red plastic fence are the Intermediate slopes. At first they were very intimidating, but conditions were very nice to ride enough to brace ur fall and not seriously injure yourself.
