its the beginning of spring break and I decided to follow a couple of my friends to cali. We head down south to attend the Loyola Marymount University's 2009 Luau. Performance made by tribal seeds. Pretty smooth drive. We end up getting there in about 4.5hrs despite all our rest stops. The spot we end up staying at is a pretty nice apartment. Later to realize that its literally right next to one of the landing strips at LAX. While in cali we decide to hit up Venice beach. All of us are "just along for the ride." That seems to be the quote of our spring break. We end up seeing a lunch wagon with a huge line and Patrick says, "where there's a long line, there's good food. that's where the locals go." I pull the car around and fortunately find parking in the crazy Venice area. The place is called kogi, where they serve a mix of Korean / Mexican food. food was awesome, walked the venice strip. and head over to the Luau. AT the Luau we were served kalua pork, shoyu chicken, lomi salmon (fkn bomb), kings bread sweet hawaiian rolls, haupia, and fresh pineapple. Dinner was followed by a pre-party method headed by one of our boys anthony, and then tribal seeds. Last day in LA and we head back to vegas.
