Homeboy Marv Invited me over for his 22nd bday. He threw a bbq at his place. It was a nice and chill saturday night with some light drizzle and a valley breeze passing through his place. I brought my Christmas gifts for his two nieces. The oldest one, caitlyn, is my God Daughter and she has a little sister Cheyenne. I usually give both of them presents because I once knew how it felt to see my sister have a gift and not one of my own. (lol) cheyenne & caitlyn i told her to stand beside me and take a picture but she just stared. yeah, every one calls marvin baby, and we all love marv. lol *cake by anna marv must've been feeling good cuz he hardly smiles on camera cake faced by the siblings, and then by my shortly after. sorry bro its tradition, i had to do it. flip the bird x.x round 2 cait, carol (mom), and me girls being camera whores. :-P she was lovely enough to throw up a shaka for ninong Ardie parents of the rascal girls. cait practicing her picture taking skillz cheyenne also wanted to play with my camera marv and carols' ading, tine tine!
left vegas on christmas morning @ about 2:40 Pacific time and arrived in Honolulu @ 6:30 a.m. Hawaii time. Flight took about 5:40min. Tossed and turned a bit. at one point, the flight attendant announced that we were about to land. "Alright Hawaiian airline passengers, we are just about to land in Las vegas Mcarran International aiport, fold your tray tables and bring your seats back to its original position." I woke up and thought about what she said like, wtf, did she say 'Las Vegas'? she must've made a mistake. Then she said. "ok now, every one is awake, Merry Christmas cuz we are landing in the Honolulu International Airport." all the passengers just laughed. she did catch us for the most part though. So we landed, got my bags, hopped into dad's van and already mom and dad was joking about everything brushing up on what I missed. Oh I miss that feeling. I got home and decided to take a pic of the neighbors plants. came out pretty on the camera but its not actually that nice in person or should i say in Plant?

I used to view this as a negative thing, but now being older, my dad knew that I knew how to play. So he bought me in @ $20 and I started going against the party members. Sad to say, it was actually fun because we just bonded and talked story at the table. Joked around about our cards and stuff. gramdma marcy (sassy old lady). too bad didnt get a chance to take a pic with my grandma cuz my dad had me running errands to take my aunty around. my niece bryanity(sp?) their names are so hard to pernounce and spell brayden ikaika with kanani there they go messin around with the dog and playing in front of my camera. she said "uncle, look, cool hair" i thought she meant me, but she was pertaining to herself. brayden, bryandicity(sp?) another hard one Cindy, my adorable nephew kaleo, and my lovely mother aunty lisa, and mother of the baby, chevee aphrodesiac? haha oysters. my uncle conversed with me saying u know how cheap oysters are here. he said $.50/piece. and sure enough over 20 oysters in the tray cost about 10.50. gayy, one of the many reasons i miss hawaii. haha this pic makes me laugh, my nephew and mom is laughing. maybe at the camera man. now uncle Ardie gets to hold baby kaleo
As the night went on and the Island breezes flowed through the air, I embraced everything that went on around me. My dad is a fkn character, my mom is a softee, and i see a little image of me in my sister growing up. I sit back and realize we are all getting older and time is flying by really quickly. I think about my life in vegas and ask myself how much more will I have to deal with it. There are some things that i can't let go over there. It just constantly runs through my mind as I let it dwell and sit not knowing the answers. But this is my Christmas day in Hawaii nei!
