Aruba Panoramic

Orangestad, Downtown:
Capital of Aruba. Flea market/swap meet to the right, alongside the water. Across is the plaza shopping area with a bunch of different shops to choose from.
Aruba Surf Club- Mariott :
we stayed here for the week. Awesome place with nice views. The beaches are walking distance from the towers, with a pool right in the middle of the resort. Swimming at either beach or pool is easily accessible. There's a lot of iguanas lingering on the premises, but they're not aggressive at all...unless you attempt to grab them.
Docks in the AM:
Many fishermen go out to sea from these docks and return with a variety of Atlantic Ocean shallow water fish. Most sell them to the bordering restaurants which serve the tourists that stay at the hotels. Occasionally, they'll sell you fish for the right price if willing.
Downtown:
Once again another view of the piers in downtown Orangestad. Many yachts and private boats set sail from here. From time to time, a royal Caribbean cruise ship will anchor down for tourists to set foot on the island and galavant the wonderful area.
Alto Vista Chapel:
small chapel located on the North shore of Aruba. Alto Vista, also known as "pilgrims church," was built by a Catholic Spanish Missionary in 1750 converting local Indians to the Christian Catholic faith.
